Though I knew who Joe was, it was not until I began working for him that I realized the type of individual he was. He strived to make sure we had the best equipment that would make our department, Food and Nutrition, efficient and what was best for our staff. He always looked out for those at the schools, and everyone knew he would do what was right and best for them and our department. He was also someone that I needed in my life at the time. Joe was supportive, kind, understanding, and helpful. He always looked out for me, and I saw a man with integrity and a strong work ethic. I will miss Joe. He was someone that we all need in our lives. My heart goes out to his wife and family. I am here if ever needed. Prayers to all.

My thoughts, and prayers go out to Kavanaugh family.   May God comfort and strengthen this family in their time of loss. My heart is saddened, from his timely passing, I send my condolences to his wife and children.  Joe you'll be truly missed. RIP Sharon Robinson.

I thank God that he put Joe in my life. I worked with Joe from his first day at the School System. We had a bond from the beginning when we found out that we were both born in St. Louis, Mo. He was one of the best mechanics that I ever had the privilege to work with. He worked very hard and took a lot of pride in what he did. I learned a lot from him. One of the things I admired most  about him is that he wasn't afraid to learn new things, he would just jump in with both feet and learn it and fix it. I sure know that he Love you Cindy and his whole family. He wanted very much to see his kids and grandkids succeed in life and do well. Thanks Joe I will miss you Buddy.

Joe will be missed tremendously at the Food and Nutrition Department for Pinellas County Schools. I've had the pleasure of knowing him for all of these years and found him to be always understanding and one of the most helpful people in our department.
