

Judy Foth Landis, of Ohio, Alabama, and Florida, passed away on November 6, 2025 leaving daughter Lori Landis; son Dr. Eric Landis; daughter-in-law Marly Landis; grandchildren, Lucy and Alex; brother and sister-in-law Rick and Marcy Foth; nieces Christen and Amber; nephew Brandon; and many wonderful friends.
Judy graduated with multiple masters’ degrees and a doctoral degree in Administration and Leadership from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa. She held certification in education, counseling, English, drama, multicultural education, and technical education. Judy worked as a teacher, counselor, drama coach, career/technical administrator, and Hospital/Homebound instructor. She also taught English and masters’ level classes for the University of Alabama. Judy was honored to be offered a lifetime achievement award for serving as executive secretary of the Alabama State SkillsUSA Board of Directors. An avid theatre lover, she was active in community theatre productions in Alabama and Florida and served on numerous theatre boards. She enjoyed entertaining with a spirited musical ensemble, DIVAS DELICIOUS, and directed an enthusiastic group of actors at Sunshine Senior Center. Judy felt blessed to have been a wife, mother, grandmother, friend, volunteer, and educator and extends heartfelt thanks to her loving family, and loyal friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on December 6, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, located at 2853 Sunset Point Rd, Clearwater, FL 33759, United States. A Catered Reception will follow from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the same location.
The placement of ashes will take place at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, 2860 Sunset Point Rd, Clearwater, FL 33759, United States, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on December 6, 2025.
