BEKOFSKE, Keith L. 80, of Clearwater, Florida passed away Sunday, August 27, 2023. Keith was born in Flint, MI, son of the late Herman and Laura Bekofske. He was a 1965 graduate of Kalamazoo College and received his PhD in Aerospace Engineering from University of Michigan. Keith retired to Clearwater, FL where he enjoyed traveling and being a math tutor for many years. Keith is survived by his wife, Eileen McBride Bekofske; daughters Sarah (Richard) Sucher of Needham, MA and grandchildren Kevin and Stephanie, and Lucy (Jeremy) Wacksman of Seattle, WA and grandchildren Eli and Miles; brothers Carl (Karen) Bekofske of Milford, MI and Gary (Nancy) Bekofske of Clawson, MI; nieces Nancy (Barry) Walkup and Laura (Andrew) Fritz; and nephew Christopher Bekofske. A private service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association.
