Kenneth was born on November 29, 1936, in Riverside, New Jersey, to the late Sara and George Koelle. He built a strong and dedicated career, working for 13 years at Philadelphia Electric and retiring from General Telephone after 27 years. Never one to sit still, Kenneth later enjoyed working part-time at a local auto auction. In 1972, he relocated to Florida, where he spent many happy years building memories with family and friends.
Kenneth had a lifelong love for classic cars. His pride and joy was his 1950 Dodge, though he admired and appreciated all vintage automobiles. He also enjoyed tinkering in the garage, his yard and spending time surrounded by the people he loved most.
Those who knew Kenneth will remember his lively spirit, warm heart, and wonderful sense of humor. He had a gift for making people laugh and was often the life of the party. He especially enjoyed celebrating holidays and traditions, including dressing up for St. Patrick’s Day and famously appearing as the New Year’s Baby, bringing smiles and laughter to those around him.
Kenneth is survived by his loving children, Shari Graney, Linda (Thomas) Klein, and David (Debby) Koelle; his granddaughter, Lauren (Cole) Cochran; and his great-grandchildren, Thomas Cochran, Nicholas Cochran, and Daniel Cochran. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joan Koelle, and his brothers, Frederick Koelle and George Koelle.
