I went to school with Lana in 6th Grade. We were buddies that year!   I just found a picture of my birthday party and she was there.   I would see her at high school football games when she cheered for Hillsborough and I cheered for king.  Such a sweet girl. 

What a beautiful service today. She hardly knew me, but she was so sweet and generous. She was one of those rare people that just glowed with kindness. We will all miss her smiles in dance class.

I had the profound honor and pleasure of dancing with Lana over the last several years and I am not shy to say - she was absolutely my favorite!  Her energy was always welcoming and her smile lit up the whole studio. She was a gorgeous dancer - sassy yet classy - and a wonderful,  loyal friend.  Dancers are creatures of habit- we have our 'spot' in the studio; it's a little area that belongs to only us, and it becomes an intrinsic extention of our shared space.  Out of respect, and an unspoken tradition, that small space of Marley under our feet remains our territory,  in perpetuity. We all share a very special bond that is difficult to explain, but impossible not to feel, because Dancing is a soulful act for us, and we  are all soul sisters the moment our feet hit the floor.  Going back into the studio for the 1st time, and seeing Lana's spot empty, is going to be an impactfully deep loss felt by all of us, for always.  We will never forget her and that space will always be - in honor  - Lana's spot,  no matter the time past. 
My friend, may you continue to dance with your heart, may your extentions be high, and your joy even higher.

Lana was a beautiful person, both inside and out. We spent many hours together while our sons were at Jesuit from the Mothers' Club to Gaudiosa and after while we attended Zumba classes. 
The most important thing in Lana's life was her sons.  My sincere condolences to her sons and to the rest of her family.   You will be in my prayers.

I’m so heartbroken over the loss of my dear friend Lana. We have been friends and danced together for over 25 years. She was truly a beautiful person inside and out. I will treasure the memories we shared from dance recitals, lunches, birthdays, going to shows together, and especially dancing together every week on Mondays and Wednesdays. I will miss you so very much. I know your dancing with the angels  and I will see you again.  My prayers go out to all the family. I’m so sorry for your loss. May the Lord comfort you and give you peace through this very difficult time.

Kyle and Anthony, I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. She was a great mom and a very kind and generous person. I was lucky enough to know her as your babysitter when you were little. I was so saddened to hear the news of Lana’s passing. When I relocated to Florida she was one of the first friends I made. We danced together at Jackie’s dance studio and had some fun times together. I then went on to teach Anthony at IDS! Love and prayers to Lana and her family. 

Sending my deepest condolences to Kyle, Anthony and family.   I was heartbroken to hear the news of Lana’s passing.  I met Lana years ago when we took dance together.  She was a beautiful person, great dancer and  a naturally sweet person.  I pray she is dancing with the angels today.  Rest In Peace dear Lana.  

My deepest condolences to Lana's family and friends.  Praying that in time your memories of this beautiful soul will provide comfort. I am heartbroken and will miss Lana so much it hurts.  Joining her in dance class will always be cherished, as her moves were so fluid one could feel her joy and this was inspirational.  Lana's sparkle will always be within our hearts of us all touched by her presence and friendship.

Lana and I were Jesuit mothers together, Michael and Kyle played football at JHS  and were fraternity brothers at UF. Lana lit up a room as soon as she walked in and was beautiful inside and out. My heart breaks for Lana’s family. God bless you Kyle .  Much love, Kim Valenti Grandoff 

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Massaro-Bellini family during this difficult time. I will always remember  Lana fondly and remember the wonderful memories of us in our junior high and high school years. Lana was beautiful inside and out.   I do not remember one high school memory without her there.  The memories continued after we both got married and had children.  She was an awesome mom and loved her boys more than anything in the world.  We could not speak for a year then reach out and connect like we spoke yesterday.  She was a true friend and an awesome person.  My heart is broken and  I will miss her forever.  💔

I was lucky enough to call Lana my friend for many decades. We enjoyed Zumba, dance classes, movies, hockey games, lunches and many laughs. We shared a deep love for our families and enjoyed sharing our stories. I will miss this sweet caring lady. I will always love and remember Lana. My deepest condolences to her family.

I met Lana at dance class about five years ago and I am lucky that she came into my life. She was beautiful inside and out and she was such an amazing dancer. My sons grew up with Lana‘s at Corbett prep, Brett and Jake, so we were also moms together. She brought warm friendship and inspiration into my week for years. We could not have been more different politically but it never got in the way of our friendship. Our fathers both had Parkinson’s disease and we talked a lot about that and about finding the right place for my dad to go. I am lucky that we met and I will miss her beauty and warmth.
