

Lenor Jean-Michel, age 66 of Tampa, Florida passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021 at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Florida. Lenor was born October 13, 1954 in Petit-Goave, Ouest, Haiti. He was the son of Iralcin and Marthe Elicie Jean-Michel.
Lenor is survived by his wife Leandra Jean Jean-Michel and siblings Brulan Jean-Michel, Inette JM Durandis and Rotchild Alexandre. He was blessed with 4 children, two sons Jeffery Jean-Michel and Lenor (Amanda) Jean-Michel, and two daughters Esther Jean-Michel and Sarai Jean-Michel all from Texas. He was also blessed with 2 grandchildren Avery and Addyson and two on the way.
Lenor earned his Associates Degree in Veterinarian Medicine in Haiti. However, his passion was being a Chef. Over the years he perfected the craft and was very respected in the kitchen.
Lenor loved spending time with family and friends and creating lasting memories that we all will forever hold. When he was not cooking, he loved watching football, wrestling and the news.
If Lenor had a theme song written about him, it might well have been “Don’t Worry, Be Happy.” He enjoyed his life and the experience of living it. Everyone will remember Lenor Jean-Michel and his face being filled with excitement, laugher and a smile.
A visitation for Lenor will be held Friday, January 22, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Sylvan Abbey - Funeral Home, 2853 SUNSET POINT RD, CLEARWATER, FL 33759. A funeral service will occur Saturday, January 23, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 2853 SUNSET POINT RD, CLEARWATER, FL 33759. A committal service will occur Saturday, January 23, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, 2860 SUNSET POINT RD, CLEARWATER, FL 33759. A burial will occur.
