Lenora Brown Tsacrios

LENORA (LEE) BROWN TSACRIOS was called home to her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 23, 2016. Lee was born in Arcadia, Florida to Cora Taylor Brown Gaskins and Carl Frederick Brown. Lee had two brothers Frederick Brown (deceased) and Thomas DeWitt Brown (Oklahoma). Lee graduated from DeSoto County High School and then later received a degree in cosmotology. Lee worked in the Air Force base there in Arcadia for about a year before coming to Clearwater for a new job. It was Clearwater Beach at Everingham's Pavilion where she met James Tsacrios. They were married in Atlanta, Georgia in 1946 and had almost 60 years together. She is survived by their two children: John C. Tsacrios and Jamie Lee Tsacrios Biondi (Joe). Lee's love was her two grand daughters: Sevasti Lee Biondi and Alexis Michelle Biondi and a step-grand daughter Heather Biondi Griffin (Andy). Lee was active in many local clubs and organizations. Lee was an original member of the Eastern Orthodox Women Club later recognized as the Holy Trinity Philoptochos. Lee and her husband were founding members of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Clearwater. Lenora's funeral will take place graveside at the Peacefield Mausolium on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Sylvan Abbey Cemetary conducted by Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home. Visitation will take place at 10 am followed immediately by the funeral service at 11 am conducted by Rev. Father Jim Paris of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. A traditional gathering will follow back at the church hall after the burial.
