She retired from Fox Chapel School System and retired to Florida with her husband.
She is preceded in death by her parents Charles & Marietta Snyder, her husband Henry Wirkus, and her sister Nancy Riddle. Lois leaves behind her sister Janet Ulmer, her daughter Charlene Jennings of Clearwater, her daughter Lori Morgan (William) of Trinity, AL, two grandsons; Justin Morgan, Nicholas Morgan (Kayla) and several nephews and nieces that she loved as her own children.
She had an unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior, and lived that faith through her love.
The family would like to thank Countryside Haven Assisted Living Facility and AccentCare Inpatient Hospice Center of Dunedin.
