Lorayne Ruth Goodfellow

May 27, 1948 – June 14, 2025

Lorayne R. Goodfellow, 77, of Palm Harbor, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2025. Born in Sayreville, New Jersey, to Joseph and Ruth Gray (née Malloy), Lorayne lived a life full of warmth, laughter, and love.

She cherished simple joys—sunny days at the beach, bingo nights, dancing, her pets and her love of cruising and gambling—but nothing brought her more happiness than spending time with her family. Her fiery spirit and joyful presence touched the lives of all who knew her.

Lorayne was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenneth A. Goodfellow, Jr. She is survived by her loving children: Paula Cartwright of Ocklawaha, FL; Darien Bulger of Palm Harbor, FL; and Tori (Jamie) Snyder of Naples, FL, as well as her cherished grandchildren: Amanda, Devyn, and Carter. She is also survived by her devoted brothers, Richard and Robert Gray; a dear sister-in-law and two brothers-in-law; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends.

A Requiem Mass in her honor will be held at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church in Norwalk, Connecticut, on August 1, 2025, followed by interment at Oaklawn Cemetery in Fairfield, Connecticut.

Lorayne’s legacy of love, laughter and fiery spirit lives on in all who had the privilege of knowing her.
