Our deepest condolences to the family.
Lou was a special neighbor always wanting to lend a helping hand. He was a kind man to our kids and quick if you needed a tool to borrow. His Christmas yard display was the best around and he took a lot of pride in his home and yard. RIP my friend, you’ll be missed.

Uncle Louie was loved by all who knew him.  We are heartbroken and will carry him in our memories and in our hearts.  He was truly one of a kind ❤️

I am deeply saddened by my Father in Law Lou’s passing and I wanted to share a few thoughts of him:
  
* As a Son in Law I was far less than perfect, but he never judged me     as he continually made my life and my family’s life better.  
 
* He was an auto mechanic and a soldier but I never heard him curse.

 * He worked long hours, but always spent time with his family. 
 
* He was not formally educated, but he was one of the wisest men I have ever known. 
 
* He fought for his country, worked in the cold in difficult conditions, but he never said an unkind word about anyone. 
 
* He was very strict in his expectations of his children and himself, but he was truly a loving, kind, caring, optimistic man. 

* He was quite often being thanked and told by the many, many people he helped that they appreciated him, but he never thought of himself to be superior to anyone.
 
*He was both physically and mentally tough, but his wife, children and grandchildren knew how much he loved them through both his actions and his words.

 * He was challenged with personal difficulties the last few years of his life, but he still placed his family as his top priority. 
 
We will all remember what you shared with us and taught us ( for me personally it was a tremendous amount) and you will always live in our hearts. I am grateful and blessed to have been a part of your life’s journey. I am sure Jesus welcomed you to Heaven took you in his arms and said “ Job well done Lou, extremely well done  “ welcome to paradise.

You had a heart of gold.  You were a great “Great Uncle”.  A true family man. Thank you for all of the wonderful memories.  I will miss you forever!! Rest easy Captain Lou 

I’m sorry for your loss. I heard about it today. I I was at Lou’s Auto Repair from the time I was 12 to 26. The story’s and things I learned there shaped me for the rest of my life. For example I was there till 2 in the morning with Louie when he did a transmission 3 times on a Ford Mustang. The problem was a small filter was clogged in the rear of the transmission. I was there when his boat 6 Ls motors were taking in water. Louie had the engineers from Chrysler call the garage. Louie helped them solve the problem. I remember Dom, Tombo, Duffy, Chach, Frankie, Tam, Cotton, Willy, Billy, Dada, Rocky, Bushy, Jo jo, Ms. Lovallo gave us ice tea in the summer. Moose..My ❤️ heart is sad. Chris 

Love you Dad ! Thank you for all that you gave and did for everyone ! You were such a giver and I know you are happy being with mom again ! You missed her so much :)  


Love you Dad! I will miss you but I know you are in heaven now with Mom and you are happy ! Thank you for being such a wonderful Father , Grandfather , Great Grandfather and Friend to everyone ! You were so special ….

"Captain Lou" was a wonderful man and we were blessed to have known him,  He always treated our family with a warm smile and open arms.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family at this difficult time.... God Bless you Lou! - Mike Palicz
