

Margaret Raymond Peck, 88, of Regency Oaks in Clearwater, passed away July 4, 2018, following a courageous battle with lymphoma. Margaret was born May 31, 1930, in Columbus, Ohio, the second of 8 children born to Colonel Allen D. Raymond, Jr., and Clara Leonard Raymond. While her parents were stationed in Heidelberg, Germany, she met and married the love of her life, Earl G. Peck, an Air Force pilot who eventually rose through the ranks to Major General. They had been married for 66 years at the time of her passing.
Margaret is predeceased by her parents, her sister, Nan (Willie, deceased), her brothers Bill (Bette) and Bob (Shirley), and her granddaughter Jennifer. She leaves behind her brothers Allen (Ellie, deceased), Chuck (Connie, deceased), Tom, and John (Grace).
In addition to her loving husband, Margaret is survived by her 7 children--Allen (Lynn), Michael (Peg), Thomas (Liz), David (Nancy), Jeffrey (Kristi), Stephen (Jenna), and Margaret Ingwersen (Scott), 20 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Margaret was a loving and supportive wife and mother who enjoyed charitable volunteer service, travel, fine tailoring, crafts, and reading. A memorial service will be held at Espiritu Santo Catholic Church in Safety Harbor at 10 AM, Thursday, July 19, 2018. She will be interred in Arlington Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Margaret’s name be made to the Suncoast Hospice Foundation or to Espiritu Santo Catholic Church.
