Mario Felipe Schiaffino

Mario F. Schiaffino, age 85, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2025, in Clearwater, Florida. Born on May 1, 1940, in Lima, Peru, to Juan and Julia Schiaffino, Mario lived a full and vibrant life marked by hard work, love for his family, and entrepreneurial spirit.

A self-made man, Mario built and operated his own brewery, a testament to his determination, honesty, and dedication. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who took great pride in the life he created and the family he cherished deeply.

Mario had a passion for soccer, movies, and cooking, and found great joy in sharing these interests with those around him. Above all, family was at the heart of his world.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Aida Schiaffino; his children Mario, Orlando, Milagros, Renzo, and Melissa; grandchildren Antonella, Nicole, Jennifer, Gabriela, Daniela, and Salvatore; and great-grandchildren Mateo, Emiliano, Aries, and Gigi.

Mario’s legacy of love, perseverance, and family devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A visitation for Mario will be held Thursday, June 12, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, 2853 SUNSET POINT RD, CLEARWATER, FL 33759, followed by a funeral service from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
