Michael J. Maline, 89, of Clearwater, passed away September 28, 2010. He was born in Greensburg, PA and retired from Gulf Oil. He was a member of Light of Christ Catholic Church and a USMC veteran of WWII and was wounded in action 3 times in Saipan and Iwo Jima. He was a part of the 5th Marine Division that raised the flag on Iwo Jima. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Geraldine; a daughter Eileen and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday, 2PM – 3PM at the funeral home, 693 S. Belcher Rd, Clearwater and Funeral Mass Sat., 11AM at Light of Christ Catholic Church, 2176 Marilyn St., Clearwater.
