

Myers, Paul Edward age 96 of Palm Harbor, FL passed away on April 2, 2016. Paul was born in Washington, Il and moved to Rensselaer, IN with his parents where he received his primary and secondary education. After graduating from Purdue University with a degree in Electrical Engineering, he relocated and resided in Dayton, OH where he worked for the NCR Company for 28 years before relocating to south west Florida. Preceding him was his loving high school sweetheart and devoted wife of 72 years, Charlene Myers. Surviving are his sons: Robert, wife Sharon, Fort Wayne, IN; William, wife Lori, Dayton, OH; four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He served in the Army Air Corp during WWII, was a past president of the Palm Harbor Hi-12 club, a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason, and a member of the Palm Harbor United Methodist Church. Paul enjoyed golf at Highland Lakes, listening to jazz and Broadway Musicals, rooting for the Rays, traveling with Charlene and visiting with the great grandchildren. Family will receive guests from 2 pm until service time at 3 pm today, April 6, 2016 at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home in Clearwater. Burial will follow in Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park. Paul was loved and will be forever remembered. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Palm Harbor United Methodist Church.
