Paula was an only child, born in Buffalo, New York January 3rd, 1942 to Kenneth and Pauline Webster and was lovingly raised in Milford, Massachusetts, later graduating from Becker College with a degree in Business Administration.
She met her future husband, Peter Sr., the summer after graduating high school, at Hampton Beach, but didn’t think much of him at the time. On a lark, she accepted an invitation to join him for the Naval Academy Ball in Annapolis, which began their romance of over 63 years together as husband and wife. He was by her side to the end. One of the last things she was heard saying before losing her ability to speak was, “I love him.”
Paula was instrumental in starting business ventures with Peter and was very active in the church as both Bible study leader and Eucharistic minister to those who were homebound. But if you asked her, she would say her favorite occupation was Wife, Mother to her two children, Peter Jr. and Jennifer, Grandmother to Nicholas, Christopher, Michael, Joshua and Samantha, and Great Grandmother to Ainsly, Heidi, Elias and Gideon.
Paula was invariably up for anything, chasing Peter up and down mountains, around tennis courts, golf courses and across the world by every mode of transportation, including the occasional camel- and always looked stylish doing so. She lived life with playfulness, unpretentious grace and resilience rarely witnessed in someone blessed with such stunning beauty- Peter was always the proudest man in the room when she was by his side. Her smile, infectious laugh, generosity and warmth will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know her. She often exclaimed “It’s like a miracle!!”. She was, and always will be, our miracle.
Please join us for a celebration of Paula's life on Friday, January 16, 2026 from 5-8pm at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home in Clearwater, Florida. Mass will be held at Espiritu Santo Catholic Church on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 12:30pm, followed by the committal at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park.
