

Pauline Brown Prewitt 81, Dunedin, Florida, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 11, 2015. Pauline was born in Burning Springs, Kentucky. She is predeceased by her father, Robert A. Brown and mother, Alpha Ferguson Brown; Richmond, Kentucky.
Pauline was an avid traveler, a creative cook and expert seamstress. Her character was crowned by her love and thoughtfulness for others. She was married to the late Fred Ellis Prewitt on May 24, 1952, in Richmond, Kentucky at the First Baptist Church by Pastor Ernest N. Perry. Pauline graduated from Madison County High School.
She is survived by her son, F. Ellis Prewitt Jr. and his wife Jennifer, and preceded in death by her son Paul D. Prewitt and his wife Laurie J. Prewitt; Tarpon Springs, Florida. She is also survived by three grandchildren: Megan D. Gable and her husband Jeremy Gable of St. Petersburg, Florida; Melissa S. Prewitt; Tampa, Florida, and Micah P. Prewitt; Dunedin, Florida. She is preceded in death by two grandchildren: Matthew E. Prewitt and Katrina Z. Prewitt, both of Dunedin, Florida. Pauline is survived by her sister, Loretta White and her husband Lawrence White; Lexington, Kentucky, and her brother Edward Brown and preceded in death by his wife Betty Brown; Lexington, Kentucky. Pauline is preceded in death by her sister Christine Kelly of Lexington, Kentucky. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Carolyn King and her husband James R. King; Winchester, Kentucky; her sister-in-law, Susan Vance and her husband, Vernon Vance; Winchester, Kentucky.
Services are being planned at the Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home, Winchester, Kentucky. Burial will be in the Winchester Cemetery.
