Philip served as a Chicago police officer for 28 years, demonstrating unwavering commitment to his community. He also retired from the Air Force after an impressive 28 and a half years of service. His love for animals, passion for playing pinochle, and most of all, his devotion to his family were evident throughout his life.
Philip was preceded in death by his daughter, Sherry Murray. He is survived by his beloved wife of 70 years, Barbara Lascola; his children, daughter Cindy Connolly and son James Lascola; his grandchildren, William and Tara Connolly, Christine Connolly, Ryan and Jessie Murray, and Brandy Murray; and his great-grandchildren, Violet, Maisie, and Oliver. He is also survived by his brother, James Lascola.
Philip Lascola was loved by many and will be missed dearly.
A Celebration of Life will be held on December 20, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, located at 2853 Sunset Point Rd, Clearwater, FL 33759.
