

Daniels, Raymond R., 96, of Dunedin, FL passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at home. He was born June 28, 1918 to William and Johanna Adriaansen Daniel. He was the middle child of 5 brothers and a sister and the last to pass. Ray and his brother John began Daniels Outdoor Advertising in 1950 until 1967. Ray received the “Silver Medal Award” for advertising in 1965. Ray was a past president of the Clearwater Lions Club and pioneered the eyeglasses for the poor program. Ray was a past Exhaulted Ruler of the Clearwater Elks Lodge. When Ray was 12 the Elks Lodge paid for 3 months of hospital care and follow up visits that saved his life. He was a past president of the Clearwater Chamber of Commerce from 1968 – 69. Ray invented a product that began Chemilizer Products in 1974 until 1991. The family includes, (1936) Raymond Louis Daniels (deceased) and (Annie): Their children: Raymond Louis Jr. (deceased), Danny, Ronnie, Johnny and (Connie), Andy. They had 9 great and 11 great-great grand children. Ray and Joy's children and grandchildren: (1948) Frank Richard Daniels and (Janice) children: Tricia Ann and (John), Jacob and (McKenna) and Sarah; Shelly, Christine and (Mark) and their girls, Ashley, Amanda and Rachel.(1950) Linda Susan & (Melvin): Jonathon and (Valerie) and their child, Sydney. Joshua Jay and his children, Benjamin, Jacob, Pasley and Hudson. It is Rays pleasure to reunite with Joy, the love of his life. A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 2pm at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, Clearwater.
