

As a younger man, he served in the Army and returned to college at Ferris State (Big Rapids, MI).
He had an entrepreneurial spirit and a hard working nature. Over the years, Regis owned/operated many businesses between Michigan and Florida.
He was a member of the American Legion (Post # 0159 – Mackinaw City, MI) and the Eagles (Aerie Post #4046 Indian River, MI).
He was a former resident of Dearborn, MI and Safety Harbor, Florida before relocating to Indian River, MI.
He enjoyed woodworking and listening to soulful music. He was a great story teller and known for saying, “Never let the truth get in the way of a good story”. He loved boating with the family and golfing with his sons. He was skillful in the kitchen and could make his own pasta.
He and his beloved wife Patti enjoyed the friendships they established and love they shared for nearly 40 years.
Regis was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his Beloved wife Patricia “Patti” Green of Indian River, MI; two sisters, Carol Lebert and Kim (Dan) Hayes both of Indian River, MI; three sons, Eric (Marla) Green of Birmingham, MI, Rodney (Erin) Green of Saline, MI and Andrew (Lindsey) Green of Winston-Salem, NC; four granddaughters Sadie, Paige, Shipley and Harper all of Michigan and his beloved niece and nephew Jodie McCraken and Dean Scanlon.
He and his laughter will be sadly missed by all, but memories of him will continue through all the lives he touched.
