

Robert Allen Bresee, 92, of Clearwater, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2025. Born on May 3, 1933, in Brooklyn, New York, to parents Allen and Mary Bresee, Robert was raised alongside his beloved sister, Delores.
A proud veteran, Robert served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War, rising to the rank of sergeant. His time in the military instilled in him a strong sense of duty and pride in serving his country.
Following his service, Robert pursued higher education, earning his bachelor's degree from Cornell University and later a master's degree from Golden Gate University in 1960. He settled in California, where his entrepreneurial spirit flourished. A savvy investor and world traveler, Robert built a successful import/export business and embraced the opportunities that came with it.
Although he was a career man, above all else Robert was a family man. He was happily married and raised his three children Greg, Marc and Matthew and Developed a lifelong bond with his stepson Jeff. In 1990, Robert moved to Florida, where he continued to work until eventually retiring but never ending his passion for business. He was known for his generosity, thoughtful nature, and enduring love for his family.
Robert was preceded in death by his devoted wife Debbie Bresee, and his sister Delores. He is survived by his loving family: Greg (Sarah) Bresee, Marc (Debbie) Bresee, Matthew (Jessica) Felix and Jeff (Lori) Bruce; his grandchildren: Sara, Kaylah, Hunter, Chase, Abigail, Andrew, Brody; and his great-grandson, Markam.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park in Clearwater, Florida. Robert's legacy of love, generosity, and perseverance lives on in the many lives he touched.
