Bob Koechlin, “ my long and faithful friend”.
	For over twenty years we worked side by side and I never knew he had a Masters Degree in Radiation Biology. How the heck did he get in the air conditioning business?  When I retired in 2007, Bob wrote me a letter reiterating our journey together.  We survived relocating our office four times in ten years, the task of building our business to become #1 in the country and building a great team.  It was hard work but so much fun and so many good times.
	Bob was the type of person you enjoyed being around. He was an over achiever and always willing to lend a helping hand no matter the task. Our lives were enriched due to Bob's presence. He will be greatly missed.

I met Bob when I came to work for Trane. He did all those necessary things to get a new hire up to speed quickly.  Bob was always quick with a kind word and a smile. Bob, we will be forever grateful for your friendship and dedication.

Bob was one of the nicest people I ever had the pleasure to work with and to call my friend.  We were colleagues and he was always available to help and provide a positive spin during difficult business times.  When we were on the leadership team together he was always there to support the team at the end of a tough day with a Bombay Sapphire martini and a kind word.  He was a wonderful man indeed.

Bob was one of the very best men i had the pleasure of knowing. I lived across the street from him and Sue in 1991 to 1994. I kept in touch through the years. He and Sue were so very supportive to me in the hard times I went through back then. I couldn't have had better and loyal friends.

Bob was one of the most kind and decent gentlemen I have ever known. He was there early in my career and was always available to help  in any way he could. He and Sue always invited me over to their house and we discussed all the world’s issues over martinis and manhattans. I will always miss his soft spoken demeanor and high intellect. Though I haven’t seen Bob in many years, I remember him fondly as a very gentle, kind, fun and fun-loving person. May he rest in peace with our loving Father in heaven, and may all of you find comfort and peace in your wonderful memories.

Kathleen and family - I am so sorry for your loss. Bob was a wonderful man. I enjoyed visiting with him on his trips to Ohio. He will be greatly missed.

I have so many wonderful memories of Bob & Sue.  Such genuine good people who loved their family and friends. My folks / our family enjoyed fun times with them when they were dating up until the time they moved from Cincy (dinners, wine making,  multiple colored rug making etc. )
Bob always made time on his trips to Columbus to stop in and check on my folks (Ruth & Ed Diebold).  I find myself smiling whenever I think of Bob/Sue and the Koechlin family.   Thankful that my life has been enriched by him/you. Hugs from TN

It's hard to think back on our growing up without our wonderful Uncle Bob. The hours putting up those canvas tents, the homemade ice cream, which took forever and the laughter. So much laughter. Though we didn't live close, we always made time to be together on the most epic adventures. These men are so missed, because they are so loved. You can bet they are making mischief together again in heaven.

I love this picture of Bob.  It truly captures the essence of his sweet personality.  May his family find comfort in the many fabulous memories they have of him.  Sending loving thoughts and heartfelt condolences.

Sue and Family.  Our hearts go out to you in this most difficult time!  We meet a small number of people in life that start out as friends but then have a special place in our hearts throughout our lives. This was you and Bob.

We met Bob his first year out of college, he was my biology teacher and met my dad when he reached out to student's parents to help him build several kymographs that he needed for his classroom.  My dad volunteered and this led to a lifelong friendship between Bob, my parents especially and our family.    Just a special bond that when separated by distance in miles when Bob and Sue moved from Cincinnati, was always in our hearts.  Over the years, Bob would often stop and visit on his way to visit Kathleen.  As Bob gave the eulogy at my dad's funeral he said that he thought about whether to stop and visit dad on his way to Kathleen's or on the way home to Florida and he decided to stop and visit him on his way up, little did he know when he made that decision the impact -my dad passed away the next morning after his visit.   Not a greater gift than that visit!  Just a small story as to the impact Bob had on our lives, and I am sure, on many people in his life.  His smile, positivity, kindness, integrity.....a special person.   Our prayers are with you for peace and comfort in the days, months, years ahead.

Bob was an amazing man. He  loved with his whole heart and had a smile that was ever present. Bob was a constant in my life. He was always so warm, welcoming and comforting. He and Sue are just so pleasant to be around. 
He will be dearly missed.
