

In Memory of Robert H. "Scotty" McArthur January 30, 1931 to May 3, 2016 Robert H. "Scotty" McArthur, 85, passed away on May 3, 2016. He was a resident of Pasco County (New Port Richey) for approximately 28 years. He was predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Dorothy McArthur; daughters, Juanita McArthur and Margaret Malone, of Port Richey FL; son, William McArthur, of Bradenton FL; Grandsons, Matthew McArthur, of New Port Richey FL, and Zach Malone of US Army, Washington; 3 nephews, Robert McArthur, Douglas McArthur, and Phil Talbot; and 3 nieces, Barbara McArthur, Sandra Belt, and Holly Brown. Born in Alexandria, Scotland, he served in the UK Navy from 1947 to 1954 when he then moved to America and settled in Ohio. He married his wife in 1964, moved with his family to Florida in 1970, and became a US Citizen in 1977. He worked as a machinest, skirting mobile homes, and insurance agent. He will be remembered as a devoted and beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and loyal friend. A memorial service is planned at First Assembly of God in New Port Richey FL on Sunday, May 15, at 3 pm. His family requests that in lieu of flowers donations of food or funds be made to Volunteer Way via First Assembly of God, 6310 Trouble Creek Road, New Port Richey FL 34653.
