Robert Frierson Moses

Robert Frierson “Bob” Moses passed away on January 27, 2022. Born November 13, 1936, in Birmingham, Alabama, he was the son of the late William Gant Moses and Sarah Porter Moses. Bob leaves behind his devoted wife of almost 60 years, Gayle Bulleit Moses, and three children; J. Lee Moses (Stephanie), Beth Bettley (Alan), and Trish Kawakami (Brent) along with 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

A graduate of Vanderbilt University and a Veteran of the U.S. Army, Bob had a successful career in the soft drink industry.

Bob loved life and lived it to the fullest. A lover of travel and family adventures, he took his family to many places and his wife all over the world. Bob always had time for his family and provided experiences that all will cherish forever. His wife Gayle was the love of his life, and they had a wonderful partnership sharing mutual interests in family, football, travel, and fun.

Bob never met a stranger. Ask his neighbors, strangers at the store, or anyone who came to know him. His hobbies included lawn care, home improvements, golf, and telling a great story.

In lieu of a service or flowers, Bob requested that those so inclined make donations to either St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee, or to Owl’s Nest Sanctuary for Wildlife, Odessa, Fl.
