Robert proudly served his country as a United States Army Veteran. He is survived by his beloved wife, Janet Williams; his children James Poole (Rachel), Mathew Poole (Alexis), Stacy McDonald (Russ), John Williams (Tara), and Amy Allen (James); and was Pappaw to seventeen grandchildren, who brought him great pride and joy.
Robert will be remembered by his family and friends for his presence, his dedication to those he loved, and the many memories shared throughout his life.
A visitation will occur from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. on Friday, January 30, 2026 at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home and Memorial Park. The address for the funeral home 2853 Sunset Point Road,

Additionally, there will be a funeral service on Saturday, January 31, 2026 from 1 p.m. - 2 p.m. at All Saints Episcopal Church, 1700 Keystone Road, Tarpon Spring, FL 34688. A reception will take place after the service, more details regarding that will be announced soon.
