March 10, 1924 – February 23, 2023
Rose Marie Incorvia [Dingenary] rejoined her soulmate on February 23, 2023, just 2 weeks shy of her 99th birthday. Devoted in her love for Mary, Jesus, and the Catholic Church, she found her way home. In her wake, she left a trail of dancing shoes, ruby red hats, and a mountain of rosary beads.
Born on March 10, 1924, Rose began her life in the small coal town of Olyphant, Pa., surrounded by the love and friendship of a family that she adored. During WWII, she moved to Ashtabula and later studied at St. John’s Hospital School of Nursing (Cleveland) as an Army Cadet Nurse. While studying, she met Joe Incorvia, her husband of 72 years. Together, they built a fairytale life and a legacy that begins with “Once upon a time,” and ends with “Happily Ever After.”
Rose loved babies and the beloved Virgin Mary. She loved her husband and she believed in her children's dreams. She carried the flames of a dancer, card shark, red-hatter, and red belt (Tai Chi), But, above all else, she was a nurse— an unselfish, unyielding, amazing nurse.
We will miss her loving smile, warm embrace, and dancing feet. We will see her in every rose, hear her in every Hail Mary, taste her in every vitamin C, and think of her whenever we are lost on the highway. We’ll remember her silly skits, birthday cards, poetic prose, and collection of angels, but some of us may never play cards again.
To Rose,
Your tales were many. Your smile sweet. Your faith limitless. Your love enduring.
Rest in Love. Rest in Peace.
Rose’s 9 children, 32 grandchildren, and 40 great grandchildren will honor her memory as they planned to in life, with a Mass and Celebration of Life on her 99th birthday.

Rose Marie Incorvia [Dingenary]
March 10, 1924 – February 23, 2023
Rose Marie Incorvia [Dingenary] joined her soulmate on February 23, 2023, just 2 weeks shy of her 99th birthday. Devoted in her love for Mary, Jesus, and the Catholic Church, she found her way home. In her wake, she left a trail of dancing shoes, ridiculous red hats, and a mountain of rosary beads.
Born on March 10, 1924, Rose began her life in the small coal town of Olyphant, Pennsylvania, surrounded by the love and friendship of an audacious family that she adored. During WWII, she moved to Ashtabula, Ohio. Following a brief stint in a bayonet factory as "Rosie the Riveter," she began her education at St. John’s Hospital School of Nursing (Cleveland) with dreams of serving as an Army Cadet Nurse. While studying, she met Joe Incorvia, her polar opposite, husband, and soulmate of 72 years. Together, they built a fairy-tale life and a legacy that begins with “Once Upon a Time,” and ends with “Happily Ever After.”
Rose loved babies, so much so that she found herself working as a labor and delivery nurse. She loved the church, novenas, the rosary, and the beloved Virgin Mary. She loved her husband, even if she didn't understand his logic. She believed in all of her children, and their children, and their children too—enormously. She carried the flames of a dancer, card shark, red-hatter, and red belt (Tai Chi), But, above all else, she was a nurse— an unselfish, unyielding, amazing nurse.
We will miss your loving smile, warm embrace, and dancing feet. We will see you in every rose, hear you in every Hail Mary, taste you in every vitamin C, and think of you whenever we are lost on the highway. We’ll remember your silly skits, birthday cards, poetic prose, and collection of angels, but we may never play cards again. And, we all know that Annemarie was your favorite.
Your tales were many. Your smile sweet.
Your faith limitless. Your love enduring.
Rest in Love. Rest in Peace.
Rose’s 9 children, 32 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, and all their spouses will honor her memory as they planned to in life, with a Mass and Celebration of Life on her 99th birthday.
