He was born March 27, 1948 in Queens, New York to the late Albert L. Dangler and Charlotte D. Dangler.
Steven enjoyed an active lifestyle and especially loved playing golf. More than anything, he cherished spending time with his family. His greatest joy came from being with his grandchildren--known lovingly to them as Poppy, he was a constant source of love, laughter and wisdom. They brought light and happiness to his life in immeasurable ways.
Steven is survived by his loving wife, Paula Dangler; his children: Amanda (Chris), Alexis (Thomas), and Courtney (Jason); his grandchildren: Gabe Resa, Kira, Taylor and Thomas Cantillo, Jake and Grace Whitelock; and his siblings: Roberta Tonti, Janet McGee and Ravey Kieran.
Steven will be remembered for his deep love of his family, his kind heart, and the joy he found in life’s simple pleasures.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the dedicated staff at Aspire and to the compassionate Hospice team who cared for Steve with dignity, kindness, and respect in his final days.
