Graves, Victoria (Tory) 1926-2015 Although Alzheimer’s slowly took Tory away from us, this was a life well lived. She was the first of our Scottish family (Lindsay) to be born in the states. AS our clan chieftain she was always willing and able to help. She helped start a child care center in Michigan. After moving to Florida in 1953 and marrying Dana in 1958, she did extensive volunteer work including : The American Red Cross, Mease Hospital in Dunedin, Dunedin Fine Arts Center, President of the Countryside Country Club Tennis Association, and organized the church library. Without wanting notoriety, she contributed to many charitable causes. Tory explored all forms of her artistic talents including painting and playing the piano and organ. While still able, she played tennis and golf. She and Dana loved trying new restaurants and traveled the world. Tory raised two daughters and was a valuable consultant for Dana in his business. The world was a better place with her in it. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to please make a contribution for Alzheimer’s research.
