Wanda P. Campbell

Wanda P. (Ketchie) Campbell, age 85, of LARGO, Florida passed away peacefully with her children by her side on Sunday November 25, 2018. Wanda was born April 15, 1933 in Canton, GA to Ralph Ketchie and Mary Lowe. As a young girl, Wanda spent summers visiting her grandparents in Highpoint, NC where she fondly remembers her Grandmother's milkshakes and apple pie. She graduated from Canton Highschool in 1949 and attended University of GA for one year before meeting the love of her life, Jesse M. Campbell, Jr. They married on August 21, 1953. She was a homemaker for 17 years following until she began working with K-Mart in Largo, FL. She retired from there in 1998 after 29 years as the manager of the garden shop.

Family was the most important thing to Wanda! She dedicated herself to the wellbeing and interests of her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Jesse (Bo), their children, John, Steve and Lisa. Grandchildren Katie, Kyle, Trevor and Michael and her sister, Mitzi. A memorial service for Wanda will be held Sunday, December 2, 2018, 1:00PM at Sylvan Abbey - Funeral Home, 2853 Sunset Point Rd., Clearwater, Florida 33759. A life celebration will follow.
