Anthony was a student at Davie High School in Mocksville. He had many passions that included mechanics, baseball, skateboarding, singing country music, making others laugh, and putting a smile on faces. He was a devoted brother/friend to so many and always left a lasting impression on those who crossed his path. He enjoyed taking trips to the beach with family and friends were we would paddle board and kayak in the sound with his father and brother. He also enjoyed playing and spending time with his Boxers Chapo and Bella.
Anthony is survived by his parents, Elvis & Jinger Sink Salgado of Advance; sister, Dazman Salgado and nephew, Cameron of WS; younger brother, Jacob Salgado of Advance; paternal grandparents, Tito & Zaida Santiago Salgado of WS; and maternal grandparents, John Charles Sink and Wanda Duggins Sink of Clemmons; aunt, Jennifer Sink Buffkin (Rick) of Maryland; cousins, Jordan (Burlington), Kyle, and Shane Buffkin of Maryland; uncle, Alberto Bentancourt of Puerto Rico (Jamina); and cousins, Sebastian and Fabian of Puerto Rico. He also leaves behind many great aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends. Special thank you to the Cofer family (Amanda, Joe, Devyn, Joseph, and Hayes).
The family will receive friends for a visitation on Wednesday, July 17th from 6pm to 9pm at Frank Vogler & Sons Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Thursday at 11am at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Anthony's memory to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
