She was born March 22, 1943 in Yadkin County, a daughter of William Thad and Lula Reavis Renegar. She married Harold David Parker in June 1961 in Clemmons. He survives.
Also surviving are her mother, Lula Reavis Renegar; three children, Barry Lance Parker of Pfafftown, Julia Annette (Kelly) Parker-Summers of Winston-Salem, Kendall Shane Parker of Clemmons; one grandson Matthew Jacob Summers; and two brothers, David Renegar and Bill Renegar.
She is preceded in death by her father.
Carol retired from the Veteran’s Administration after 29 years.
She was an active member of Center Grove Baptist Church in Clemmons.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Frank Vogler and Sons Clemmons Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Burial will be in Westlawn Gardens of Memory.
