Cecelia "Cele" Hauser Shaver

Cele graduated from High Point Central High School and attended Appalachian State University. She had a career in the mortgage business with Wachovia Mortgage, Republic Mortgage Insurance Corporation, and her own business Mortgage Review Service. Cele loved playing bridge in her bridge club and participating in the Clemmons United Methodist Church Joy Circle Club with her close friends. She sang in the choir and participated in the start-up of the Clemmons Food Pantry.

In addition to her parents, Cele had one sister, Pat Tyree and her husband Gene Tyree, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by husband, Robert Glenn Shaver; her beloved daughters, Ashley Meredith McCormick (Steve Ells) of High Point and Suzanne Loraine Nguyen (husband Tuan) of Las Vegas, Nevada; granddaughters, Logan McCormick (Ryan Bass) and Maddie Nguyen; grandsons, Nick McCormick (Kaytlin Adams) and Andrew Nguyen; and her nephew, Dallas Tyree (wife Jamie) and niece, Lynn Tyree.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 23rd at 2pm with Rev. John Fitzgerald officiating at Forsyth Memorial Park, 3815 Yadkinville Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27106.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Clemmons Food Pantry, c/o Clemmons United Methodist Church, 3700 Clemmons Road, Clemmons, NC 27012.
