

David Larry Page, 62, of Winston-Salem passed away Friday, October 5, 2012 at his home. He was born January 15, 1950 at Fort McPherson, Georgia to Mary Walden Page and the late William Curtis Page, Sr. Mr. Page was employed by Hanes Brands for 31 years. He was an active member of College Park Baptist Church. His love for sports led him to spend many years coaching the Winston-Salem Optimist Soccer League, West Central Community Center basketball league, Pop Warner football - Mount Tabor Falcons, and the Pilot Mountain Association basketball league. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his father. Surviving are his wife of 39 years Barbara Pearson Page, daughter Karen Page Clough and husband Mark of Columbia, NC; son Keith Alan Page of Charleston, SC; and a “very special” grandson Samuel Curtis Clough. Also surviving are his mother Mary Walden Page of Calhoun, GA; sisters Mary A. Hergel and Patricia Ann Page both of Calhoun, GA; brother William (Bill) C. Page, Jr. of Calhoun, GA; brother Roy Edward Page and wife Pam of Chatsworth, GA; and many special nephews and nieces. Friends may visit on Sunday, October 7, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Frank Vogler & Sons Reynolda Road Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 8, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at College Park Baptist Church.
