Debbie was born on October 15, 1953 in Forsyth County to the late William Leonard and Mary Yow Conrad.
She was a devoted caregiver to her family. Debbie was generous, loving, and made sure everyone in her family was well taken care of. In her spare time, you would find Debbie and husband, Jack, traveling around the United States on his motorcycle. She always claimed that the sound of the Harley’s engine was the sound of freedom.
Debbie is survived by her husband of 38 years, Jack Dalton; children, Christina (Ron) Freeman and Mitchell Dalton; grandchildren, Sarah (Austin) Reavis and Ben Freeman; great grandchildren, Nathan and Sophia Reavis; siblings, William “Lenny” (Debby) Conrad, Jr., Gary (Wanda) Conrad, and Mark (Maureen) Conrad; the Dalton family; and many other family members and friends.
Debbie was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, “second mom”, and friend. She will be truly missed by all of those fortunate enough to have met her.
The family will receive friends for a visitation Saturday, September 29th at 11am at Frank Vogler & Sons Funeral Home, 2849 Middlebrook Drive. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at noon at the funeral home with John Priest officiating.
