

Doris Buchanan McClamrock, of Winston-Salem walked into glory with her family by her side on August 13th, 2024. Born in Rockingham County to Norman E. and Ruby Davis Buchanan on May 5th, 1938. Dot was retired from WS/FCS as an interpreter for deaf children. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, A.T. McClamrock Jr, and her granddaughter, Jennifer Cox. She is survived by her Sons, A.T. McClamrock III (Tad) and his wife Ellen (Tootie) and David R. McClamrock. Her significant other, Leroy Hurst who provided her with unwavering love and care during her time of illness. Her sister Joyce (Pete) Hull. Lovingly referred to as Bawsie by her surviving grandchildren, Amanda "Mandy" (Travis Templeton), Jessi (Stephanie McClamrock), Kevin (Vicki Cox), Michelle (Chris Farrington), Josh McClamrock (Selena). Great grandchildren, Bethany (Archer) Templeton, Izzy Cox, Alex Cox, Cooper McClamrock, Kenny Cox, and Grayson McClamrock. Special family member, Bruce Thomas. The family wishes to thank Trellis for their support during Dot's time of need. With a special thanks to Nancy Sellars and Chaplan Tom. A graveside service for Doris will be held Friday, August 16, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Oak Grove UMC, 1994 US-158, Mocksville, NC.
