

Eleanor Parsons Panetti, Eleanor Parsons Panetti, widow of John Milton Panetti, Jr., daughter of the late W.C. and Myrtle Boyd Parsons, and mother of the late Marguerite Panetti, died at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home on April 6, 2015 of complications of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and dementia. She was eighty-eight years old. She is survived by her daughter Eleanor Panetti and son-in-law Keith Stroud; her sisters Mazel Parsons Andrews of Maryville, TN; Myrtle Ray Parsons Blake and her husband Ralph Blake of Asheville, NC; Arlene Parsons Whitley of Midland, NC; brother-in-law Ernest G. Panetti and his wife, Patti Troxler Panetti of Rock Hill, SC; her extended family of nieces, nephews, their children and grandchildren all around the country; and her many friends near and far who she loved as family. The family will receive visitors starting at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Saturday evening, April 11, 2015, at Eleanor and Keith’s home in Winston-Salem for cocktails, chocolates and conversation, Mrs. Panetti’s favorite things. Services for Mrs. Panetti will be on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at 3:00 p.m., at Forest Lawn West Cemetery, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC 28208. Following the service, family and friends are invited to gather at the home of Dalia Rock and Joe Meyer. In lieu of flowers, the family will appreciate contributions to the charity of the donor’s choice. Frank Vogler and Sons on Reynolda Road is caring for the Panetti family.
