

Born on January 27, 1952, in Roanoke, Virginia, Emily was the daughter of the late Emil Housenfleur and Priscilla Trout. She was a graduate of Friendly High School and later devoted many years of her life to her work at T.C. Mailing, Inc., where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic.
Emily was a loving, candid, and steadfast woman whose presence brought warmth, humor, and honesty to those around her. She took great pride in her family and was deeply committed to caring for and supporting her children and loved ones. In her leisure time, she enjoyed life's simple pleasures, especially watching her favorite soap operas, including The Young and the Restless, The Bold and the Beautiful, and General Hospital.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, Donna (Greg) Maxwell, Louis (Michelle) Ream, Tammy Ream, and Michele (Eric) Ream Williams, as well as her many grandchildren and great grandchildren who will continue to honor her memory.
In addition to her parents, Emily was preceded in death by her son, Carl Ream, her sister, Robin Housenfleur, and her former husband, Louis Ream, Sr.
A memorial service celebrating Emily's life was held in Maryland.
