Exie Hire Branon

She was born on January 1, 1930 to the late, Glenn and Zora King Hire in Forsyth County. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband (of 49 years), Troy (Jack) Branon; and sisters Mozella Pickel, Irene Blakeley and Bonnie Odom; and a special niece, Glenda Phillips.

Exie worked at Hanes Knitting Company, Clemmons Discount and Southwest Elementary School. She was a lifelong member of Clemmons First Baptist Church. Exie is survived by daughters Donna (Mike) Myers and Gena Ward, and grandson Matthew Myers.

A cryptside will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, August 8th at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons with Rev. Gary Elrod officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 7th from 6 PM until 8 PM at Frank Vogler and Sons Funeral Home Clemmons Chapel.
