Frances Beshears Landreth

Frances Beshears Landreth, 90, of Clemmons passed away Thursday, September 29, 2016 at her home. She was born May 10, 1926 in Wilkes County to Coy Edgar and Viola Welch Beshears. She loved to read and was a longtime member of Clemmons First Baptist Church. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Luther C. Landreth, Jr, a sister, Marie Nifong, two brothers, Rex Beshears and Bill Beshears and a son-in-law, Gary Peacock. Surviving are four children, Patricia Peacock, Diane Jarvis (Jon), Ron Landreth (Susan) and Rick Landreth; seven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Pauline Pike and Angela Francis (Tony); a sister-in-law, June Beshears; and numerous nieces and nephews.. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday at Clemmons First Baptist Church with Rev. Eric Peacock and Rev. Scott Hammett officiating. Burial will follow in Westlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
