Remembering Frankie… 
Of the many things about Frankie that I remember about Frankie, some stick out more than others…
He loved being photographed… 
He was always well dressed… even when he wasn’t.
He couldn’t resist a good joke… even if the joke was on him.
I remember attending an outdoor Santana Concert in Central Park. It was Frankie, Pucha, & Me (The Three Musketeers). We had a great bird’s eye view of the Music… We didn’t need tickets (we couldn’t afford them anyway), because we found a perfect spot on a hill across from the venue. Frankie was the best “air guitar” musician I ever saw…  You could swear he was really performing.  Laughter was an important detail for the “The Three Musketeers” & how we dealt with the 70’s.  I’m sure he is reliving those moments just as we are remembering them.

Frankie the Actor…
Frankie the main actor in my first film… Well, he was the only actor, nevertheless he was very effective. Frankie played a drug addict that overdoses & goes on a visually colorful trip through Central Park. The anti-drug message of the film allowed us to present the film in Community activities.  
In our second film project, Frankie played a Latin American Style cowboy; in what can be described as a confusing, “what is this film about!” type film. We still don’t know… 
In any case… To say that Frankie’s presence in my life was important is an understatement. I have been working on films for the past 50 years & I can say that this was, in part, made possible by those simple but significant little films…

Still can't believe  you are gone...ill never forget our last convo and getting to hear you speak with Savannah. So blessed to have been able to grow and get older and become a man and have you always there to give me advice. You were a great uncle and an even more wonderful person. You'll be forever missed!

Los momentos  compartidos, las risas y el amor a  Guatemala cuando nos visitaba era enorme.  Gracias  Frank por esos recuerdos que tengo grabados en el corazón. Sigue un gran viaje al cielo, donde ángeles lo esperan.

Un  fuerte abrazo a la familia  y que Dios los bendiga y les de mucha fortaleza. 

My condolences to family and friends.  I will remember Franky for his acting and modeling skills.  I remember making a video, with my father's home camara.  Franky was the actor, Johnny the camara man, and I was the producer.  The theme was about  drugs in our communities, and the effect it had among our youth.  The home video was so good, that it was presented in community centers to young people.  I will remember Franky, as a good looking man, that loved fashion, and at times entertained us with his stand up comedy.  I will remember those good old days,  hanging out with you, David, and Johnny in Panchita's home.  I will not say good-bye,  but, until we meet again my brother...RIP
