Mrs. Gertrude E. Kellar

Gertrude E. Kellar, 83, of Pfafftown, NC and formerly of Syracuse, NY, passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 28, 2011, in the presence of her loving family at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem, NC. Born in Auburn, New York, Mrs. Kellar moved to the Winston-Salem, NC area in 1973 and retired in 1990 as an Administrative Assistant with Leggs /Hanes Hosiery Company.

Mrs. Kellar was preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Gertrude (Derbershire) Coopper. Surviving family includes son Steve Kellar of Syracuse, N.Y., son Lance Kellar of Winston-Salem, N.C., daughter and son in law Sandy and Jerry Infinger of Pfafftown, N.C.; grandson and granddaughter in law Justin and Crystal Calloway of Winston-Salem, grandson Taylor Kellar of Winston-Salem, granddaughters Kim and Amber Kellar of New York; sister Eunice Renfroe of Endicott, N.Y.

A graveside funeral service celebrating the life of Gertrude E. Kellar will be conducted of Friday, July 1, 2011, 11:00 AM at the Mausoleum Chapel at Forsyth Memorial Park, 3771 Yadkinville Road, Winston-Salem (336-924-2865) with burial to follow. Family and friends will visit on Thursday (today) from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Vogler Funeral Home Reynolda Chapel, a Dignity Memorial Provider, 2951 Reynolda Road, Winston-Salem (336-722-6106).
