Glenn Paul Miller

Glenn Paul Miller, 83, of Advance passed away December 26, 2018 at Yadkin Nursing Center. He was born March 22, 1935 in Surry County to Edward D. and Maria Miller. Glenn was retired from Gravely Tractor in Clemmons. He loved the beach, going fishing, and car racing. During the past years he attended Redland Holiness Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Paul Steven Miller, and two sisters, Dorothy Nichleson and Odessia Martin. Surviving are his wife, Willie Faye Miller; five children, Micheal Lee Miller, Paula Mayers, Freddie Miller, Barry Miller, and Vicky Smith; 15 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Joesphine Layell of Elkin and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday at Frank Vogler and Sons Clemmons Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service. A private family entombment will be held on Monday at Westlawn Mausoleum Chapel. The family would like to thank the staff of Yadkin Nursing Center and Mountain Valley Hospice for the care they gave to Glenn. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Yadkin Nursing Center or Mountain Valley Hospice.
