Gregory “Greg” Alton Wooten, 61, of Elkin passed away Saturday, February 10, 2024 at his home, after an extended illness. Greg was born July 5, 1962 in Alleghany County to the late Don & Jolene Shaver Wooten.
He graduated from Alleghany High School. Greg operated Wooten Lawncare for 25 years. He enjoyed playing Golf, collecting baseball cards and spending time with his wife and family, including the “Girls and The Kids”.
He is survived by his wife; Erin McGee Wooten, “The Girls”; Meredith Styers(Cody) & Sarah Dinkins(Jeff Boulden), “the Kids”; Wyatt, Jackson, Memphis & Bristol.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 1PM on Saturday, February 17 at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel
Memorial contributions can be made to Mountain Valley Hospice.
