Harriet Stewart

Harriet Lankford Stewart, 85, of Winston-Salem passed away, Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born April 13, 1931 in Forsyth County to Milton Harrison and Effie Aaron Lankford. She was retired from Baptist Hospital with over 25 years of service and was a member of Faith Chapel Worship Center. Surviving are a brother, Timothy Lankford; 4 children, Lydia Lambert (Gary) of Casa Grande, Az., Bruce Stewart (Aurora) of Hardeeville, S.C., Rebecca “Becky” Stewart, of Lewisville, N.C., Karen Vergara (Andrew) of Kernersville, N.C.; 3 grandchildren, Johnathon Beddard, James, Beddard, Daniel Cranford; a step grandson, Tommy Cranford; 3 great grandchildren, Olivia, Willow, Kylan; and a cousin Wayne Aaron, of Yadkinville, N.C. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday at Frank Vogler and Sons Reynolda Chapel with Rev. Wesley D. Tuttle officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery.
