

Jackie was born on July 15, 1930 in Elmira, New York to the late John Augustus Minster and Alene Horton Minster. She attended Southside High School. Her last employer was Sam’s Club, where she made many lifelong friends. Jackie worked small jobs here and there, but her main career was being a homemaker. She loved her family dearly.
She was a member of Clemmons Moravian Church where she enjoyed attending the Women’s Circle. Jackie loved crafting and cooking.
Jackie was charming yet feisty. She will truly be missed.
In addition to her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Currie; son, Michael Currie; and siblings, Joseph Edward Minster, John Augustus “Jack” Minster, Jr., and Jeannine Rita Minster. She leaves behind her children, Sherrie Beshears, Melinda (John) Pennington, and Daniel (Terri) Currie; grandchildren, Crystal Jagels, Brent Dunbar, Courtney Mena, Carrie Baskin, Taylor (Bailey) Pennington, Matthew Pennington, Daniel (Tekla) Currie, and Chad (Abby) Currie; great grandchildren, Gage Baskin, Karen Mena, and Noah, Kohl, Silas and Elle Currie; brother Daniel Arthur Minster; and many other loved ones.
A private family memorial service will be on Friday, June 30th in the chapel at Parklawn Memorial Gardens.
