Jimmy Richard Dabbs, 69, of Lewisville passed away on December 4, 2013. He was born in Bristol, TN to James William and Bertha Newman Dabbs. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Mr. Dabbs proudly served in the US Navy and was deployed during the Vietnam War. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four siblings. He is survived by his loving wife, Eileen Dabbs; son, James Dabbs (Emilie); siblings, Carolyn Browder (Kyle), Lewis Dabbs (Sylvia), Christine Nixon (Tom), and Eddie Dabbs (Marian); grandchild, Georgia Grace Dabbs; and multiple nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2013, 3:00 p.m., at Vogler and Sons Clemmons Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service.
