John Stephen Shore

Mr. Shore was born July 2, 1971 in Forsyth County, son of Susan Bodner Shore of Winston-Salem, NC and John Carl Shore and wife Joanne S. Shore of Troutman, NC.

He was a graduate of RJ Reynolds High School and NC School of the Arts. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church. John was an Assistant Scout Master with Troop 770. He had a heart full of love for dogs and fostered many dogs for AARF. John would rescue any dog he felt was in need. He was a member of Odd Fellows Organization.

He is survived by his wife Gina Spainhour Shore, daughter Katherine Riley Shore, son Sullivan Gray Shore, brother Christopher Clyde Shore and wife Leslie Coggins Shore and their children Joshua, Jessica, Jordon and wife, Jessica and his best friend Cliff Davis.

A memorial service will be held Friday, June 12 at 11:00 am at Vogler and Sons Reynolda Chapel with Rev. Brant Hoots officiating. The family will receive friends and family following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to AARF (Animal Adoption & Rescue Foundation), 311 Harvey Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
