Joyce Ann Webster Davis

Joyce Ann Webster Davis passed away on May 16, 2021 in Winston-Salem. Joyce was born in Mecklenburg County on June 24, 1942 to the late Lewis and Virginia (Edwards) Webster. In 1959, she married Gary Davis and the two grew their family with two sons.

She worked as an assistant teacher in Forsyth County schools until the opening of her family business, Casecraft Inc. in Yadkinville. Joyce and Gary ran Casecraft Inc. for 17 years where she acted as the factory manager. She then went to work in the Mooresville school system in the cafeterias for about 10 years until her retirement.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and husband. She leaves behind her sons, Glenn Jeffrey “Jeff” Davis (Heidi Fritts) and Gary “Dean” Davis; grandchildren, Amy, Paige, Dane, Casey, Spencer, and Mason; five great grandchildren; brother, Clifford Webster; niece, Rebecca; and many other family members and friends.

She was an avid bird watcher and loved spending time in her garden. However, Joyce most loved spending time with her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

The funeral service will be Sunday, May 23rd at 3pm at Frank Vogler & Sons Funeral Home in Clemmons. The family will receive friends for a visitation at 2pm prior to the service.
