Kathleen Womble Bailey age 90 of Advance passed away at 4:52 in the evening on Sunday, November 9, 2014. Kathleen, a long time Advance, NC resident was retired from Drexel Heritage of Mocksville, NC and was a member of Elbaville Methodist Church in Advance, NC.
Kathleen is preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Hessie Tillotson Womble: her husband, Raymond Craig Bailey: her niece, Belinda Gaye Potts: brother Francis Womble: half-brother Clyde Womble: and half-sister Nell Womble Hall. Surviving family includes two half-sisters - Jerryline Martin of Pfafftown, NC and Joyce Flippin of Winston-Salem, NC: two god-daughters - Christa Miller (Scott) and Michelle Moore (Michael), both of Advance, NC: special friends Fred and Nancy McHan of Advance, NC: and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Elbaville Methodist Church in Advance, NC.
Memorials may be made to the Children's Home in Winston-Salem, NC, the Elbaville Cemetery Fund or to the charity of the donor's choice.
