Lois Ashley Moore

She was born February 9, 1929 in Wilkes Co. a daughter of Thomas S. and Sarah E. Curry Ashley. She married Willie V. Moore in 1946.

Surviving are one son, Jerry (Deborah) Moore of Winston-Salem; two granddaughters, Ashley (Jim) Armbruster of Simpsonville, SC, Ginger Davis of Leeds, AL; one great grandson, Steven Lynn Davis III; one brother, Monroe “Pinkie” (Nancy) Ashley of Stokesdale; and her special companion, Baby.

She is preceded in death by her husband and one brother.

She worked as a CNA for Forsyth Medical Center until her retirement.

Lois was a member of Mineral Springs Baptist Church and involved with the Homebound ministry coordinator.

She loved to knit, crochet, and to read.

Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, December 23, 2011 at Frank Vogler and Sons Reynolda Chapel. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Forsyth Memorial Park.
