

She was the loving wife of Charles Clayton Alexander and mother of three sons, Clayton S. Alexander and wife Ashley (Knoxville, TN), Chad A. Alexander and wife Kathy (Lexington, NC), and Clint E. Alexander and wife Melissa (Gloucester, VA). She was preceded in death by her father, R.G. Moss, Jr. and her mother Pat R. Moss.
Lynda is survived by two brothers, Steve Moss and wife Mary, and Ken Moss; eight grandchildren, Chase, Parker, Logan, and Cooper of Lexington, NC; Brayden and Blake of Knoxville, TN; and Lucy Alexander and Delilah Nelson of Gloucester, VA.; and two nieces, Amanda Edwards and Whitney Adams of Asheville.
Lynda was a member of the Winston-Salem church of Christ, Yadkin County Beekeepers Association, active volunteer in the community, devoted “Nana” and faithful friend to many. She loved traveling with her family, scrap booking with her girlfriends, and writing wedding invitations in calligraphy for numerous weddings.
A funeral service for Mrs. Alexander will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16 at the Vogler & Sons Funeral Home on Middlebrook Drive in Clemmons, NC with Perry Hall officiating. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the funeral service at Westlawn Gardens of Memory, Clemmons, NC
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the charity of your choosing.
The family wishes to express gratitude to the nurses and doctors of Forsyth Medical Center’s Neuro ICU for the compassionate care given to Lynda.
